Refund policy
At Rainy J, every item is crafted and packaged with care. We want you to love your purchase! Because all of our products are handmade or produced in small batches, we offer a limited return policy focused on quality and craftsmanship. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us at hello@rainyj.com.
No returns or exchanges unless your item is defective.
We accept returns only for items that arrive with a manufacturing defect.
If you believe your item is defective, please contact us at hello@rainyj.com within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos or a short video of the defect
Once approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item or receiving a replacement.
No Returns for Wear, Misuse, or Minor Variations
Because all of our products are handmade:
- Minor variations in color, shape, or pattern are not considered defects.
- Damage caused by normal use, accidents, or mishandling cannot be accepted for return.
Shipping Damage or Loss
Items damaged or lost during shipping are the responsibility of the carrier. If your package arrives damaged:
- Take photos of the packaging and product right away
- Keep all packaging materials
- File a claim with the shipping carrier directly
We’re happy to help guide you through the process if needed.
Non-Returnable Items
For health, safety, and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns for:
- Items without their original packaging
- Items damaged after delivery
- Sale or clearance items
- Custom or personalized orders
Exchanges
Exchanges are available only for defective items, and only if the item is still in stock.
If it is not, we will offer a refund or store credit.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item:
- Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method
- Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider
